We see children for urgent care only, meaning illnesses and minor injuries that need same-day attention. We do not provide pediatric primary care, so children should keep a pediatrician for well-child visits, immunizations, and ongoing care.
First MD can serve as your regular primary care provider. Many patients who first visit for urgent care continue with us for ongoing primary care.
Telehealth works well for follow-ups, medication questions, reviewing lab results, and many minor illnesses. Some concerns need a hands-on exam, a test, or an X-ray. If you're not sure, call us and we'll help you choose the right kind of visit.
